JoJo Has ‘Too Much Too Say’ at The Agora Ballroom Tour Stop in Cleveland, Ohio & Fans Can’t Get Enough

With Emmy Meli opening the show, Cleveland was introduced to a woman with powerhouse vocals, electrifying energy, and a deep sense of empowerment—especially for women in music.

Emmy wasted no time in making her presence known. From the moment she stepped onto the stage, her energy was infectious, captivating the audience with her dynamic performance. She closed her set with her anthem “I AM WOMAN” that went viral on TikTok with lyrics that promote positive self-imagery. Meli currently has one 7-song album titled “Hello Stranger.” She eventually closed with her viral hit, which felt like the perfect song of the night as the crowd erupted in cheers at her mention of it being International Women’s Month.

Self-love and fan appreciation was on the setlist for the former tween pop icon during the Cleveland stop of her Too Much to Say Tour.

Supported by a solid, all-female three-piece band, JoJo appeared from a shadow behind the drummer and started the night off strong by opening the show with the double-headed disco burn of NGL‘s “off again” and “Nobody,” then appeasing the crowd with a fan favorite “Baby It’s You.” However, it didn’t seem like she needed to dip into the classics because the audience gave right back from the get-go. From the moment she walked on stage, the energy never halted for a moment.

Taking small breaks inbetween songs to interact with fans, JoJo made sure Friday night was a night for everyone to remeber. From remembering a couple who got engaged at a previous show and dedicating a song to them to bringing a fan on stage to sing “Weak” together, JoJo continues to show the absolute powerhouse of a person she is.

The Too Much To Say Tour follows her Broadway run playing Satine twice in Moulin Rogue! The Musical and becoming a New York Times best-selling author with her memoir Over The Influence. While the tour takes its name from a track of her latest EP, NGL, it’s really a celebration of her entire catalog. The setlist features songs from each of her studio albums. For instance, she opened the show with “Nobody” from NGL, but she followed it up with “Baby It’s You” from JoJo and “Like That” from The High Road.

The eight-track EP truly showed off her skills, as her talent is truly undeniable. Eight tracks, eight wins. The upbeat, body-shaker, “Nobody” is an instant hit, leaving you no choice but to dance. Another bop was the track “Ready To Love”. To boast her range, she covered the popular track “Lose Control” by Teddy Swims which the crowd responded to with raucous applause.

JoJo ends the show with “Porcelain,” and the lryics have so much meaning with how much she, and her audience even, has been through and grown through. As the chorus says, now she’s stronger than she’s ever been.

Levesque’s performance was filled with joy, healing and self-love. She allowed herself to be vulnerable with her fans and trusted that they would embrace all of her.
